Easy chocolate banana cream pie recipe. Delicious no bake chocolate pie made with bananas, pudding and your favorite whipped topping.

Growing up, my mom always made banana cream pie for every holiday. The delicious graham cracker crust, the rich pudding and fresh bananas. All topped with a mound of creamy whipped topping.
Not once did I question that this was (or wasn’t) truly banana cream pie.
And at (insert age) years old, is where I learned from Google that I was actually making chocolate banana cream pie the easy way with instant pudding.

Some recipes have you making vanilla or banana pudding from scratch. Although pudding from scratch is delicious, if I’m making this for a holiday event, I probably have 6 other things I’m making as well.
But recipes are funny like that. As long as it tastes delicious, you can make it however you want.
So here we go with the best (and easiest) chocolate banana cream pudding pie
CHOCOLATE BANANA CREAM PIE
- Graham cracker crust- Homemade recipe here
- 1- Box instant chocolate pudding
- 2- Cups milk
- 2- Bananas
- Whipped topping

Make your graham cracker crust and set aside.

Follow instructions for the instant chocolate pudding. Beat until thick and creamy. Set in refrigerator for 30 minutes.
Add a base layer of chocolate pudding then add a layer of sliced bananas.

Add remainder of chocolate pudding on top of the bananas and finish it off by adding a generous amount of whipped topping.

Set in refrigerator to chill until ready to serve.

Maybe traditionally it’s made with homemade vanilla or banana pudding, but honestly, anything with chocolate is better anyway.
Optional- add additional bananas to the top. For ours we added bananas and coconut flakes.
