Easy Banana Bread Recipe | A Family Favorite

Easy banana bread recipe. Homemade banana bread made with simple ingredients. A family favorite for on the go or a relaxing weekend morning.

Banana bread happens for two reasons in this household.

  • The kids need an easy breakfast
  • I forgot I bought bananas and now they are way too ripe.

I mean, it also tastes delicious and takes almost zero effort. So I guess that’s three reasons. But really it only came to happen because I forgot about the bananas.

Making banana bread a staple in this busy house.

Follow me on…

The kids are constantly looking for something to eat, especially in the mornings for breakfast. Sure we have 5 different kinds of cereal, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt and english muffins. But somehow there is still “nothing to eat.”

So looking over at the fruit bowl you see the bananas and know the choices are throw the browning bananas out, or take the extra time to make homemade bread. You know you want that delicious warm bread with a bit of butter on it, anyway.
