Homemade Croutons Recipe To Top Your Next Salad

Homemade croutons recipe to top your next salad. Quick and easy croutons to add a bit of crunch to any salad dish.

I stopped buying croutons.

Several years ago I just decided to stop buying them. Oh, we had good intentions to eat them with our salads but sometimes salads come in phases. Leaving half eaten bags of croutons in the pantry to go stale.

And they would. I guess the majority of people would probably throw away the old bag once a new one came into the house, but not us. No. I would hoard them along with their different seasonings in hopes to what? One day eat them?

No way was I doing that! I now had a new bag to use! and so the vicious cycle began.

Ok, so the croutons stopped making it into the grocery cart but the craving for the crunch never really went away. You know what else we like to buy? French bread.

See where we’re going here. Basically we already had croutons in the house, we just needed to make them. And thankfully they are super easy and quick.
