Easy and delicious overnight oats recipe with fresh or frozen blueberries. Make mornings a breeze with this on the go favorite.

Mornings can be a bit hectic trying to keep everyone on track and out the door in a timely manner. And sometimes even when you pack lunches and pick out clothes the night before, you are still looking for shoes that the kids left in the backyard.

Luckily with this overnight oats recipe you can keep the guess work out of breakfast and be sure everyone will be happy and satisfied until lunchtime.

Since we’ll be making this recipe in a mason jar, all you’ll need the next morning is a spoon.

OVERNIGHT OATS RECIPE

Ingredients

  • old-fashioned rolled oats
  • ⅓ milk
  • ¼ vanilla Greek yogurt
  • ¼ cup blueberries (fresh or frozen)
  • 2 tsp. pure maple syrup
  • 1 tsp. chia seeds
  • pinch of salt
Overnight oats with blueberries.

Note- This recipe makes 1 cup of overnight oats and fits perfectly in a smaller 8oz mason jar. It’s a great size for elementary school children and if they happen to not finish it, you can put the lid back on and save it in the refrigerator for later.

Gather Your Ingredients

In an 8 oz. mason jar add ⅓ cup old-fashioned rolled oats, ⅓ cup milk, ¼ cup vanilla Greek yogurt, ¼ cup fresh or frozen blueberries, 2 tsp. pure maple syrup, 1 tsp. chia seeds and a pinch of salt.

Shake vigorously and place into refrigerator overnight. Enjoy the next morning for a quick and easy breakfast.

  • Make with fresh or frozen blueberries
  • Keep on a low shelf so it’s easy for little ones pull them out and help set the table for breakfast.
  • If they have any leftovers, you can put the lid back on and save it for an afternoon snack.
