Homemade Chocolate Covered Strawberries

  • 1lb Fresh Strawberries
  • 8oz Bakers Semi-Sweet Chocolate
  • 4oz Bakers white chocolate


  • Graham crackers
  • Oreos
  • Sprinkles
  • Chopped nuts
  • Coconut
  • Chocolate shavings


  • Wash strawberries and fully dry with a paper towel.
  • Melt chocolate in a microwave, stirring every 15 seconds.
    Use a double broiler.
    Break the chocolate up and reserve a few squares to add in last. Melt your chocolate over low heat, stirring frequently with a rubber spatula. Remove from heat and stir in the remaining chocolate.
  • Hold the top of the strawberry, dip, turn and coat the entire strawberry. Allow excess chocolate to drip off. Set on wax paper and repeat.
  • Add desired toppings.

Adding White Chocolate

  • Melt your chocolate.
  • Drizzle on top using a fork or piping bag.
  • Place in refrigerator and allow to set.
  • Serve and enjoy
