Can I Use Homemade Whipped Cream
No- Homemade whipped cream is so delicious! However, since this recipe needs to be refrigerated at least 4 hours and up to 3 days, homemade whipped cream would become runny and not keep its shape.
It is recommended to use Cool Whip or other whipped topping for this recipe as those are more stable.

Storing Leftovers
This strawberry icebox cake can be stored in the refrigerator for up to three days.
Hot summer days call for easy recipes that don’t require the use of the oven. And this icebox cake is the perfect way to have a sweet treat without the hassle of ovens, measuring cups, and added dishes to clean.
