Easy spaghetti pie recipe made with cottage cheese and simple ingredients. A cozy baked dinner that the whole family will love! Perfect for busy nights.

I have a confession. I find spaghetti to be a little boring and try and change the subject every time my youngest requests it for dinner.
Now, it’s not all pasta! It’s specifically spaghetti. Well boring spaghetti. If you’re making your sauce from scratch, grating up the parmesan, or even making crockpot spaghetti, then I’m fully on board!
But I started feeling guilty about side stepping my daughters dinner request and then I remembered a favorite from back in my day.

The story is this- When I was younger I made a new friend from church. The two of us would switch going over to each others houses on Sabbath afternoon for lunch and one day they had spaghetti pie.
As her mom pulled the dish from the oven, I gave my friend a questionable look. With a shocked expression she said “You’ve never had spaghetti pie before?” No, I hadn’t.
Then she proceeded to tell me about how amazing it was while her mom told me all about their homemade tomato sauce. A tomato sauce I quickly became obsessed with and was given my very own jar to take home!
This creamy, cheesy dish with homemade spaghetti sauce became one I always looked forward to on the weekends and I can’t believe it took me this long to remember.
