The story of Pizza Night!
Every family has that one easy meal that everyone enjoys. And as you grow, you start looking back fondly on the meals and family time you use to have when you were younger.
Now that I’m the mom in charge of the meal memories, I wanted us to create something that was easy, special and something the kids can take part in as well.
I first started making pizza at home 3 years ago.
A memory our kids could look back on.
I wasn’t afraid of trying new recipes but I could NOT get making pizza at home! First I cheated and bought the premade pizza crust and sauce packets. Those did NOT satisfy our craving for pizza.
Doing it from scratch
After many burnt pizzas, turning vegan for 9 months and using fake cheese, and having a difficult time transferring it from the counter to oven, I gave up!
But not for good.
A friend introduced pizza on the grill to me, and even though it sounded complicated, I was desperate to give it a try.
A year later and this family has mastered grilled pizza night. We look forward to gathering around the table and enjoying this fun, delicious, fast easy meal.
